| Bio: | I'm not who I think I should be. I've never done what I should have or could have or would have done. I'm married but there are days that I'd rather be alone. I like being alone. I'm fortunate that I don't have kids. The kids are fortunate that I didn't have them. I like my job. I'm a short, sturdy, round chick. I'm open to new things and thoughts. I have lived one of the most boring lives ever lived. I am a reluctant adult. I think things that are explained by science are probably just magic. I give people things I find that remind me of them even if it is a rock or leaf or feather. In the late fall, winter and early spring, if the sky is cloudy, I look for sundogs or ice rainbows. I look in trees and on powerlines for birds, especially crows and hawks. I always look for things that other people miss like wild turkeys in a field or pheasants or the muskrat I saw loping along a street near a man-made lake on a walking path. The Platte River is sacred to me as are the cottonwood trees growing along it's banks. When I get interested in something, I worry it to death like a dog on a bone. I'm odd and I have never felt like I fit in. That's ok. I like it that way. | |||||||
